ALL THAT SMOLDERS

A Mystery

“ James Sulzer’s All That Smolders is a perfect mystery. The classic themes of love and money,
and who will do just how much to get it, had me turning pages—and being surprised by … well,
see for yourself. Best of all, it’s set on Nantucket and Sulzer brings it all alive with scenes of
what really happens on the island, and sometimes it’s beautiful, and sometimes it’s not. I hope
this is the start of a series. I want to read about Peter Christie and Detective McGuane again."
- Nancy Thayer, NYT best-selling author of Summer Light on Nantucket

“His writing is sharp, clear, and layered with the right details and knowledge of island life that
bring the story and characters to life. At times, his prose is both literary and perceptive, offering
keen insights into the world and its inhabitants . . . an engaging read.”
